Casey Kaufhold, the world’s top-ranked women’s archer, is on a mission to win gold at the Paris Olympics. The 20-year-old Lancaster, Pennsylvania native has been making waves in the archery world since she was 15, impressing even seasoned athletes like Brady Ellison, a former world No. 1 men’s archer. Ellison recognized Kaufhold’s talent early on, and they teamed up to win gold at the Pan-American Games in 2019.
Kaufhold’s rise to the top has been swift and decisive. She became the first American woman to reach No. 1 in the Sanlida World Archery rankings last year, a feat she achieved at just 19 years old.
