In preparation for the second-term school holidays and the upcoming Maulidur Rasul and Malaysia Day celebrations, Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) has introduced two extra ETS train services along the KL Sentral to Padang Besar route. These additional trains will operate from September 13 to 22, catering to the anticipated increase in passenger numbers during this busy period.

The extra services will offer 630 additional seats daily, amounting to a total of 6,300 tickets available over the 10-day period. This initiative aims to ensure smoother travel for those planning trips during the holidays, providing more options for passengers.

Tickets for these additional services went on sale starting September 6, with KTM advising passengers to purchase their tickets through the KTMB Mobile (KITS) app for greater convenience and ease of access. These extra trains are expected to help manage the increased demand and provide more flexibility for travelers during the holiday season.
