A fresh and intriguing tag team may be making its way into the AEW tag team scene. Over the weekend during Chris Jericho’s “Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea” cruise, Danhausen, known for his unique persona, teamed up with Jericho for a pair of matches.
A fan described the duo as “Danhausen and Jerichohausen… the most hausen tag team of all hausen!!” and posted a picture of them in coordinated face paint and red capes. Another attendee shared photos of them performing “The Walls of Jericho” on Austin and Colten Gunn.
Jericho’s cruise event, which predominantly showcases AEW wrestlers, also features stars from ROH, GCW, and NJPW, along with musical performances by Jericho’s band Fozzy, Quiet Riot, and “Platinum Max” (AEW World Tag Team Champion Max Caster). Danhausen served as the cruise’s “guest host” for the weekend.
Prior to his AEW debut in early 2022, Danhausen built a strong fan base on the indie circuit and social media. Known for his “spells” on opponents, he has achieved an 8-5 record in his first year with AEW.
Given his rising popularity, it’s plausible that his second year with the promotion will bring even more exciting opportunities, particularly with his connections to All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy and the Best Friends.
