Ted DiBiase, famously known as “The Million Dollar Man,” holds a prominent place in the annals of professional wrestling, though his career is not without its share of controversies. His most important achievements were closely associated with Vince McMahon’s WWE (formerly WWF).

In a recent episode of his “Everybody’s Got a Pod” podcast, DiBiase shared his reflections on the forthcoming Netflix documentary “Mr. McMahon.” This highly anticipated series aims to explore Vince McMahon’s complex life and career, a man who has profoundly influenced the world of professional wrestling. DiBiase conveyed both appreciation and hesitation regarding McMahon’s portrayal.

DiBiase shares his gratitude towards Vince McMahon while acknowledging the controversies surrounding the WWE founder (WWE)

“I’m uncertain whether the documentary will present a positive or negative view of Vince,” DiBiase admitted. “I’ll always be grateful to Vince McMahon for the incredible years he provided me in wrestling. When we first met, he was just his father’s ring announcer. I owe him a lot.”

Nevertheless, DiBiase also addressed the recent scandals surrounding McMahon, which have somewhat tarnished his legacy and led to his resignation from his leadership position in WWE. “I’m aware of the controversies but prefer not to form a strong opinion,” DiBiase stated. “I don’t have insight into Vince’s personal matters, just that he had to step down from his role. I’m not even sure who is leading WWE now.”

The “Mr. McMahon” documentary is scheduled to debut on Netflix on September 25, aiming to illuminate the enigmatic figure behind wrestling’s global phenomenon.
