PEOPLE reported that the health update came just two days after Don Omar posted an Instagram Reel of dancers auditioning to join his tour. He expressed his gratitude and excitement for the upcoming stage of his tour, saying,

“The most special thing about today’s auditions is seeing that there are people who want to dare to dream with me. Thank you to each of you who gave your all on the dance floor! This second stage of the tour comes with everything.”

In December, Don Omar notably ended his long-standing feud with fellow musician Daddy Yankee, following the latter’s announcement of his retirement.
