Stephanie McMahon’s departure from WWE earlier this week came shortly after her father, Vince McMahon, reentered the company. Sources indicate that their professional collaboration faced serious challenges.
Vince’s reappointment was marked by a remarkable overhaul of the WWE Board of Directors: he introduced two new members while dismissing three existing ones to accommodate his return and the new additions.
In light of these changes, Stephanie McMahon resigned from all her roles, leading to a rapid and substantial shift within WWE’s leadership structure.
Dave Meltzer, writing for the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, reported that tensions between Stephanie and Vince were evident:
“It was acknowledged that Stephanie and Vince struggled to work together effectively as family members, with Khan serving as a crucial mediator who maintained harmony between them and between Vince and Levesque.”
Vince’s primary motive for his comeback is believed to be his intention to drive a sale of WWE. Stephanie and Paul Levesque (Triple H) are said to have opposed this move.
