MG Motor is gearing up to showcase its cutting-edge products at the 20th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Shanghai Auto Show) on April 18th.

In celebration of its centennial, the British-origin brand will invite visitors to explore an immersive experience at the MG stand, divided into four distinct zones: the MG International Area, the New Energy Area, the Vehicle Appreciation Area, and the MG7 Rain House.

In March 2023, the MG 7 set a new Guinness World Record for the greatest altitude change by a petrol-powered car at 5,978.17 meters (MG)

The MG7 Rain House offers a unique photo opportunity against a rain screen with the MG 7 set against a cinematic black backdrop. In the international business and new energy sections, visitors can delve into MG’s rich history and major milestones, including the development of the all-electric MG 4.

The new MG 7, a highlight among MG’s five-model debut, will be showcased prominently. This model features a stylish fastback design with British influences, frameless doors, adaptive electric three-section tail wings, and an opulent interior.

The interior includes a BOSE® Centerpoint Deep Sea Surround Sound system, Dinamica® high-quality suede, a Topload openable glass enclosure, and an intelligent cockpit featuring the BANMA Luoshen 8155.

The MG 7 will be available with two power options: a 2.0 Turbo engine with 9AT and a 1.5T with 7DCT, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.

The car also features an mCDC intelligent adjustable electronic suspension and E-LSD limited slip differentials, ensuring both safety and comfort. In March 2023, the MG 7 set a new Guinness World Record for the greatest altitude change by a petrol-powered car at 5,978.17 meters.
