Bowlus Heritage Edition Marks Company’s Most Affordable, World’s Lightest Travel Trailer

World's Lightest Travel Trailer (Bowlus)

Bowlus has uncovered its 2023 Heritage Edition travel trailer, offering a more affordable entry point into its line of luxurious RVs. This model marks a departure with its “mill finish” exterior, a satin silver look distinct from Bowlus’s typically polished aluminum designs.

The trailer maintains Bowlus’s iconic shape, crafted from riveted aluminum in a monocoque style reminiscent of aircraft construction. For the first time, Bowlus is offering customization options with matte black or satin grey wraps, allowing customers to personalize their trailers.

Each Heritage Edition trailer comes standard with a 2 kWh battery pack (Bowlus)

Weighing approximately 2,900 pounds (1,315 kilograms) in its base configuration, the Heritage Edition claims the title of the world’s lightest full-size travel trailer currently in production.

It boasts over 80% efficiency when towed by an electric vehicle, akin to Bowlus’s Terra Firma and Volterra models. Each Heritage Edition trailer comes standard with a 2 kWh battery pack.

Upgrade options include Power Package I, which adds an additional 2 kWh, a 2,000-watt inverter, solar power, Bluetooth power monitoring, and off-grid air conditioning for up to 4 hours.

Power Package II enhances this with a 3,000-watt inverter, a 6 kWh battery pack, a touchscreen power panel, and off-grid air conditioning for up to 8 hours, allowing for extended off-grid stays.

Despite being an entry-level offering, the Heritage Edition is equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay in nature, accommodating up to four adults with a standard King size bed.

Custom orders are available for bedding and outdoor awnings tailored to individual preferences. Bowlus is currently accepting orders for the 2023 Heritage Edition, starting at $159,000 MSRP with financing options beginning at $1,027 per month.

This model aims to make luxury RV experiences more accessible while maintaining Bowlus’s reputation for quality and innovation in travel trailers.
