Wife of Eagles Icon Wants Him to Refrain from NSFW Language During Broadcasts

Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce (Philadelphia Eagles)

Philadelphia Eagles icon Jason Kelce had a smooth debut on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” last week, with only one hitch—his outfit. He forgot to bring his dress shirt. That wardrobe issue didn’t just affect the broadcast, it also sparked some humor at home.

Kelce managed to purchase a new shirt at a nearby mall, but it gave his wife, Kylie, some material for a joke that she’s hoping he won’t repeat during his breakdown of the Eagles vs. Falcons game on Monday night.

Jason Kelce’s tight shirt on ESPN last Monday led to a joke from Kylie, who shared a light-hearted warning about his on-air humor (Philadelphia Eagles)

On Instagram, Kylie shared, “Training camp had a bit of a twist this year, and watching you on Monday is going to be a unique experience. The girls and I are cheering you on through this new phase! … Maybe avoid saying ‘tits’ this time?”

When ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt introduced Kelce last Monday, he let viewers know that Kelce had left his original shirt in the production truck, leading him to buy a replacement—one that ended up being slightly too snug.

Kelce then quipped, “The belly fits better now that I’ve dropped some weight, but the shirt’s still tight on my tits,” much to the amusement of the audience. Though Kylie wasn’t entirely thrilled, Jason’s brother Travis and his girlfriend Taylor Swift couldn’t stop laughing at the remark.

“Taylor and I were cracking up. It was the perfect way to set the tone for what people will get from him over the next 18 weeks,” Kelce shared on his “New Heights” podcast, according to Awful Announcing.

Kelce’s upcoming “Monday Night Football” appearance will be particularly meaningful as he covers the Eagles, the team where he carved out his Hall of Fame-worthy career from 2011 to 2023. Unfortunately, Philadelphia will be missing one of their key players—wide receiver AJ Brown, who is sidelined due to a hamstring injury.
