Monique Billings gave the Wings their first lead since the opening minutes with a basket that made it 68-67. From there, Dallas never looked back, with Sims scoring nine of her points in the fourth quarter, including two driving layups in the final 3:10.

Teaira McCowan added 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Billings finished with 14 points for the Wings. Ogunbowale’s impressive performance marked her 14th 20-point game this season. Sims’ efficient shooting (8 of 12 from the field) helped the Wings record their most bench points this season with 36.

Napheesa Collier led the Lynx with 29 points and 11 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Wings’ determination.

The Lynx, who had just won their first Commissioner’s Cup championship, were plagued by 13 turnovers in the second half after a flawless first half. The Wings’ victory was a much-needed boost, snapping their losing streak and giving them a renewed sense of hope for the season.
