Meet the New Cast Members of ‘The Sandman’ Season 2 on Netflix

The highly anticipated second season of Netflix’s “The Sandman” has announced its new cast members, including Steve Coogan, Jack Gleeson, Indya Moore, and more.

The show’s first season, adapted from Neil Gaiman’s iconic graphic novel series, was a huge success, and fans are eager to see what’s next for the Sandman, aka Dream (Tom Sturridge).

In Season 2, Dream will face off against powerful rulers from Hell, Asgard, Faerie, and beyond. New characters include Orpheus (Ruairi O’Connor), the son of Dream and Calliope; Loki (Freddie Fox), the god of chaos; Odin (Clive Russell), Thor’s father; and Thor (Laurence O’Fuarain), the storm god.

Ann Skelly and Douglas Booth will play Nuala and Cluracan, royal emissaries from Faerie, while Jack Gleeson will play Puck, a malevolent hobgoblin. Indya Moore will play Wanda, a driver and security agent, and Steve Coogan will voice Barnabas, the canine companion of the Endless’ prodigal brother.

Returning cast members include Tom Sturridge as Dream, Kirby as Death, Mason Alexander Park as Desire, and Donna Preston as Despair. Other cast members include Adrian Lester as Destiny, Esmé Creed-Miles as Delirium, and Barry Sloane as The Prodigal.

Patton Oswalt, Vivienne Acheampong, Gwendoline Christie, Jenna Coleman, Ferdinand Kingsley, Stephen Fry, Asim Chaudhry, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Vanesu Samunyai, and Razane Jammal will also appear in the show.

With its diverse cast and expansive scope, Season 2 of “The Sandman” promises to be just as thrilling as the first.
