WWE is motivating “WWE NXT” talent to invite their friends and family to attend tapings to boost enthusiasm among the live audience, according to a recent report.

The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed that WWE issued a memo to the developmental “NXT” roster before last Tuesday’s taping, urging them to “strongly encourage their friends and family in the central Florida area to attend ‘NXT’ tomorrow evening at the Performance Center to help energize the crowd in the final shows leading up to Stand and Deliver.”

The memo was reportedly a reaction to recent lackluster crowds at “NXT” tapings, which had frustrated WWE officials. Although tickets to “NXT” tapings are free, fans must request audience spots online ahead of time. “NXT” Stand and Deliver, the developmental promotion’s annual WrestleMania weekend premium live event, is scheduled for next Saturday in Los Angeles.

The main event will feature an “NXT” Championship match between current titleholder Bron Breakker and challenger Carmelo Hayes. Additionally, several other prominent figures, including Dragon Lee and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s daughter Ava, will make their highly anticipated in-ring debuts for the promotion.

The card will also see the return of former “NXT” Champion Johnny Gargano, who is set to face Grayson Waller. Several other title matches will be announced on this Tuesday night’s go-home show.
