WWE has recently taken steps that hint at the development of new content, likely for streaming on Peacock, with two trademark filings submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The first trademark, “WWE Legends & Future Greats,” was filed on October 19, describing entertainment services centered on a continuous program about sports and entertainment, accessible across television, online apps, and mobile platforms.

As with most filings of this nature, it includes broad legal phrasing to cover various forms of media. A second trademark, “WWE LFG,” offers a concise version of the title and further clarifies that it will be a professional wrestling show.

While WWE has not provided official confirmation or specific details on these trademarks, the concept would fit well within the company’s existing portfolio of original content on Peacock.

WWE has previously released shows featuring veteran performers and Hall of Famers, such as “Legends with JBL,” which highlights interviews with iconic wrestlers, and “Table for 3,” where wrestling personalities gather to share stories over dinner.

A similar example of WWE’s past ventures into themed programming is “Legends House,” a reality series inspired by “Big Brother” and “Real World.” The show followed several wrestling legends living together, with the first season featuring stars like Tony Atlas, “Mean” Gene Okerlund, Hillbilly Jim, Jimmy Hart, Pat Patterson, Howard Finkel, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.

The series stood out for memorable moments, including the close friendship formed between Piper and Duggan and Pat Patterson’s public coming out on camera. Despite receiving positive feedback from fans, WWE finally decided not to pursue another season of the show.
