Get Ready to Drool: Genesis Teases a Limited-Edition Supercar

New Supercar You Can't Buy (Genesis)

Genesis has uncover its latest showstopper, the Genesis X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo Concept, at the 2024 Busan Motor Show in South Korea.

This one-off beauty is the fourth vehicle developed by Hyundai’s luxury brand exclusively for the Gran Turismo racing game. With its aggressive styling, beefy aero package, and massive carbon fiber rear wing, this concept is a hardcore version of the Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Concept.

Genesis 1,540-hp hybrid (Genesis)

The hybrid powertrain packs a whopping 1,540 hp and 1,051 lb-ft, making it a force to be reckoned with. The front mid-mounted engine, equipped with an electric supercharger, is a V-6 with 870 horsepower and 790 pound-feet, spinning up to 10,000 rpm.

fIt works in tandem with a front-mounted electric motor delivering 670 hp and 225 lb-ft. While these numbers are impressive, it’s important to note that this car exists only in the virtual world of Gran Turismo and as a scale model for display purposes.

The striking orange paint job is a nod to the Magma lineup, a new sub-brand dedicated to performance vehicles. Inside, the cabin has been transformed into a single-seater with a carbon fiber bucket seat, roll cage, and racing yoke, reflecting the race car theme.

The interior features more knobs and buttons to adjust various settings, such as the traction control system’s level of intervention. Although Genesis hasn’t announced when the car will be available to drive in Gran Turismo, this concept has already generated remarkable buzz.

With its sleek design and impressive powertrain, the Genesis X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo Concept is a testament to the brand’s commitment to innovation and performance. While we may not be able to take this car for a spin in real life, it’s certainly a thrilling addition to the virtual world of Gran Turismo.
