A24’s fall lineup is packed with diverse films that promise to capture audiences. First up, on September 6, is the psychological horror film “The Front Room,” directed by the Eggers Brothers.
Brandy Norwood and Kathryn Hunter star in this chilling tale of a mother-in-law who becomes the ultimate house guest from hell. This film will be released alongside Warner Bros’ “Beetlejuice 2” and an Angel Studios’ theatrical release.
Next, on September 20, is the limited release of “A Different Man,” directed by Aaron Schimberg. Sebastian Stan, Renate Reinsve, and Adam Pearson star in this Sundance Film Festival premiere about an aspiring actor who undergoes a radical transformation. Stan won the Silver Bear Award at Berlin for his performance.
On October 11, John Crowley’s “We Live in Time” will be released in limited theaters. This decade-spanning romance stars Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh as a chef and recent divorcée whose chance encounter changes their lives forever.
The horror thriller “Heretic” will be released wide on November 15, starring Hugh Grant, Chloe East, and Sophie Thatcher. This film follows two young missionaries who become embroiled in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse after knocking on the wrong front door.
Finally, on December 20, A24 will release the erotic thriller “Babygirl,” directed by Halina Reijn. Nicole Kidman, Harris Dickinson, Antonio Banderas, and Sophie Wilde star in this tale of a high-powered CEO who begins a torrid affair with her young intern.
This film will be released alongside Disney’s “Mufasa,” Paramount’s “Sonic the Hedgehog 3,” and Angel Studios’ “Homestead.”
