Geely Group Motorsport has uncovered the latest iteration of the Lynk & Co 03 TCR, drawing from the refreshed Lynk & Co 03 road model introduced late last year.
This new race car release celebrates the fifth anniversary of Geely Group Motorsport’s highly successful TCR customer racing initiative. The Lynk & Co 03 TCR has achieved significant milestones, including five World Championships, five TCR Asia/China titles, two TCR South America championships, and numerous race victories in TCR Scandinavia.
The 2023 Lynk & Co 03 TCR, designed and assembled by Geely Group Motorsport and its partners, features a newly reworked front and rear design. It has been updated to accommodate the upcoming hybrid systems that TCR will integrate in 2024.
The car adheres to the latest FIA safety protocols, incorporating advancements such as an enhanced crash structure, a reinforced roll cage, and a roof extrication hatch.
The Lynk & Co 03 TCR maintains its highly regarded powertrain from the previous generation, which includes a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 340 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque, in line with TCR’s global regulations.
It is equipped with front-wheel drive, a six-speed sequential gearbox, and has a total weight of 1,265 kilograms, including the driver.
The new generation Lynk & Co 03 TCR will be first delivered to the championship-winning Cyan Racing team, who will field the car in their four-car TCR World Tour campaign, starting at Portimao, Portugal, at the end of April.
The vehicle is priced at €148,000, adhering to TCR cost cap standards, and potential buyers are invited to contact Geely Group Motorsport for further information.
