Once inseparable, Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley experienced a shift at WWE SummerSlam when Mysterio announced his unexpected allegiance to Liv Morgan against Ripley. Since that moment, Mysterio and Morgan have forged a strong partnership, with Mysterio actively supporting Morgan as she defends her Women’s World Championship.
During an appearance on “The Schmo and The Pro,” Mysterio took the opportunity to praise Morgan while reflecting on his promotional experiences leading up to WWE WrestleMania 41. “‘Dirty’ Dom does what he does best, and that’s going around, showing off my girl, my güerita, Liv Morgan, who is the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time,” he stated confidently.
He also expressed excitement about the upcoming WrestleMania set to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mysterio remarked that the venue will give WrestleMania 41 an atmosphere akin to a “massive night club,” but he quickly returned to praising Morgan. He highlighted various reasons why he believes Morgan outshines Ripley.
“I don’t want to get too much into Rhea, because I start talking about her, give her too much credit, she gets crazy,” Mysterio noted. “Liv, on the other hand — I could talk about Liv all day, 24/7, seven days out of the week, 365. She’s the best Women’s World Champion we’ve ever had, a two-time Women’s World Champion, she’s beaten Rhea multiple times, and she’s gonna beat Nia [Jax] at this upcoming pay-per-view in Saudi [Arabia]. She’s the best ever.”
Later today, WWE Crown Jewel 2024 is set to occur in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, featuring champions from “WWE Raw” and “WWE SmackDown.” Among the competitors, Morgan will face Jax in a match for the WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship, as announced by Triple H at WWE Bad Blood.
