SmackDown Sees Addition of Four-Way WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match to Crown Jewel Card

Damage CTRL meets with WWE officials, setting their sights on the Women's Tag Team titles (WWE)

As the date for Crown Jewel approaches, the event’s card is becoming increasingly solidified. During the latest episode of “WWE SmackDown,” Ava, Nick Aldis, and Adam Pearce announced another match: the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship will be contested in a four-way tag team bout in Riyadh on November 2.

Initially, general managers met with the teams of Damage CTRL, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven, and Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson to discuss their shared ambition for a shot at the titles. Shortly after, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill joined the gathering, proudly showcasing their tag titles. Belair and Cargill greeted their competitors with an air of confident enthusiasm.

Cargill issued a challenge, stating, “If you ladies want to shoot your shot, here’s your chance.” This upcoming match marks what will be Belair and Cargill’s fifth title defense since they reclaimed the belts from The Unholy Union at Bash in Berlin.

The champions have already successfully defended their titles against Damage CTRL on “WWE Raw” and recently triumphed over Legend and Jackson on “SmackDown.” However, they have yet to face off against Green and Niven in a title match, despite having previously defeated them in a non-title encounter on the April 12 episode of “SmackDown.”
