Odell Beckham Jr. Praises Giants Rookie Malik Nabers After Breakout Performance (Miami Dolphins)

Both Odell Beckham Jr., a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, and rookie Malik Nabers from the New York Giants share a remarkable similarity: they both made serious impacts as rookie receivers for the Giants after being selected in the first round of the draft from LSU.

During his first primetime game on Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys, Nabers had a chance to shine and delivered, finishing with 12 receptions for 115 yards before leaving the game due to a concussion incurred while attempting to catch a deep pass along the sideline on a crucial fourth down in the final drive.

Odell Beckham Jr. Shows Love for Nabers on X, Calling Him a Star in the Making (Miami Dolphins)

Beckham expressed his admiration for Nabers, echoing the sentiments of many fans by posting on X, “I know I ain’t sayin’ nothin’ we don’t all know but uhhh Malik Nabers is (puking emoji).”

Nabers has started his career on a high note, tallying 35 catches for 386 yards and three touchdowns. If he continues at this rate, he could challenge Puka Nacua’s rookie records from last season.

Beckham also had an impressive rookie campaign in New York, racking up 91 catches for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns in just 12 games. Although OBJ has yet to make his debut for the Miami Dolphins this season, he is reportedly close to returning and is expected to be eligible for practice after Week 4.

The concussion Nabers suffered occurred during the team’s last offensive play, and given his importance to the offense, fans hope it’s a minor injury that will allow him to be ready for Week 5.
