Elton Prince of Pretty Deadly and Kelly Kincaid, the interviewer for “WWE NXT,” celebrated the arrival of their first child this past weekend. A shared Instagram announcement from the couple revealed that their daughter, Poppy Faye Hawley, was born on September 20.
They received warm congratulations from a host of wrestling personalities, including former NXT UK Tag Champion Mark Andrews, Nikkita Lyons, Killer Kelly, Ian Riccaboni from ROH, WWE referee and producer Jason Ayers, and many others.
This joyous occasion coincided with Prince’s tag team partner, Kit Wilson, tying the knot with “NXT” wrestler Stevie Turner at the Valley of Fire, located just northeast of Las Vegas, Nevada. The weekend turned out to be particularly memorable for both former tag team champions as they welcomed fall.
Kincaid, who initially worked as a wrestler and interviewer for ROH, now serves as the lead backstage interviewer for “WWE NXT” on Tuesdays. Meanwhile, Prince and Wilson have been part of the “WWE SmackDown” brand since their draft in 2023.
Originally making their mark in “NXT UK,” they captured the British brand’s Tag Team Championships before its closure. They subsequently enjoyed success in “NXT,” securing the Tag Titles twice and competing against well-known teams such as The New Day.
On the main roster, Pretty Deadly has faced off against teams like The OC and The Usos, although they have yet to claim a title. They recently came close to vying for the titles in a tournament last month but were eliminated by former WWE Tag Team Champions DIY before the Street Profits secured the victory.
