Giulia has finally made her mark as a full-fledged member of the WWE roster and is now engaged in her inaugural feud with the promotion.
Although Bully Ray initially had reservations about her presentation, he noted on “Busted Open Radio” that he observed a outstanding shift in her performance during the most recent episode of “WWE NXT.”
“Last night, I really connected with Giulia,” Bully remarked. “Her look and the way she spoke reminded me of a character from ‘Kill Bill.’ She exuded the purpose of someone who could fit into that ensemble of assassins, perhaps even taking on the lead role played by Uma Thurman.”
Directed by Quentin Tarantino, “Kill Bill Vol. 1” and “Vol. 2” were released in 2003 and 2004, centering on a retired assassin seeking revenge against her former allies. Both films are known for their martial arts influences, exaggerated characters, and stylized violence.
Reflecting on Tuesday’s “NXT,” Bully appreciated how effectively Giulia conveyed her character in a brief segment. After feeling disappointed with her debut at WWE NXT No Mercy, he is optimistic that her trajectory is now heading in a positive direction.
In just a few weeks, Giulia will compete in her first WWE match, where she will challenge Roxanne Perez for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship. This bout is set to occur during the inaugural episode of “WWE NXT” on The CW.
