Logan Paul’s rise to fame has been anything but ordinary, and the same applies to his ascent in the wrestling world. Despite demonstrating impressive skill for someone with limited experience, not everyone from the previous generation has been impressed.

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash took issue with Paul, claiming that he isn’t “one of the boys,” leading to a heated response from Paul. Booker T has now chimed in on the situation, offering his perspective as a close friend of Nash while still being in touch with today’s WWE scene.

During his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T addressed the tension between Nash and Paul. “That was real,” he said of the online spat. “Most of these younger guys aren’t going to grind on the road the way we did… I get where Kevin’s coming from.

But you also need to understand where these newer guys are coming from too. It’s just different now.” Booker acknowledged that while Paul’s path to wrestling may not earn the same respect that someone like Nash did back in the day, today’s generation operates with a different mindset and approach.

The friction between Nash and Paul began after Hulk Hogan’s appearance on Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast, where it became clear that Paul didn’t know the meaning of the term “shoot.”

This prompted Nash, along with co-host Sean Oliver on “Kliq This,” to express surprise at Paul’s lack of knowledge about basic wrestling terminology, especially given his 279-day reign as WWE United States Champion. Paul responded sharply, accusing Nash of being bitter because he wasn’t as skilled in the ring.
