Alicia Fox, a former WWE star, had an extensive career with the company, starting in OVW in 2006 and continuing until 2023 when she revealed her departure. Since leaving WWE, Fox has used the opportunity to rediscover herself, something she discussed in detail during an appearance on “Busted Open Radio.”
Fox shared that social media has played a key role in reconnecting with her fans, helping her secure bookings on independent shows under the name “Vix Crow,” a nod to her real name, Victoria Crawford. She expressed how important it was for her to reintroduce both her real self and the persona fans knew from her time in the ring and “Total Divas.”
Through her new ventures, Fox has developed a deeper sense of independence, describing the experience as emotionally enriching, though not without its surprises. “It felt independent, it felt great, it felt dynamic,” she said, reflecting on her growth.
She also highlighted how her current lifestyle has given her more freedom to explore interests beyond wrestling and join new communities. “Professional wrestling is a dynamic experience, but at the end of the day, it’s a business, and that’s one of the things I still love about it.”
“It needed a partner too, you know, someone who wanted to make a new message,” she explained, reflecting on her journey since stepping away from WWE. Fox also mentioned gaining new perspectives and using social media as a tool during this transitional period, despite taking a short hiatus from it.
