The anticipated OnePlus 13 is set to follow the OnePlus 12, which debuted in China in December 2023. Recently, the smartphone has been generating buzz with various leaks revealing details about its specifications, including chipset, display, camera, battery, and charging features.
A tipster has now confirmed some of these details, providing additional insight into the phone’s expected battery, charging capabilities, and camera features. The OnePlus 13 is rumored to come with a robust 6,000mAh battery, as per a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, which was highlighted in a Gizmochina report. It is expected to support 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
In terms of camera technology, the upcoming model might feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 sensor with an f/1.6 aperture and an O916T haptic motor, closely mirroring the specifications of the current OnePlus 12. Previous leaks also hinted that the rear camera module could include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
The display is anticipated to be a 2K 120Hz flat panel with curved edges, and the device is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. It may offer IP69-rated protection against dust and water and feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for added security.
The OnePlus 13 is projected to launch between October and November this year. While it might not feature a circular camera module, it is likely to retain the lens arrangement of its predecessor. The price is expected to be in line with the OnePlus 12, which was initially priced at Rs. 64,999 for the base 12GB + 256GB variant.
