WWE to Kick Off Hall of Fame Inductions Announcements Today?

WWE Hall of Fame (WWE)

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is set for Friday, March 31, following that night’s SmackDown in Los Angeles. With WrestleMania weekend approaching, WWE has yet to reveal any inductees for this year’s Hall of Fame class, but that is expected to change soon, according to WrestleVotes.

The report indicates that WWE will start announcing the inductees today. “The plan as of Monday was to begin announcing this year’s Hall of Fame induction class today. The annual HOF ceremony is three weeks from tonight in Los Angeles following SmackDown.” WWE is aiming for a shorter ceremony than in previous years.

Earlier this week, Mick Foley shared that he had been asked to induct someone for this year’s class, though he didn’t specify who or whether it had been finalized. One frequently mentioned name is Dave Bautista.

He was initially scheduled for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020, but the event was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was set for induction the following year but had to withdraw due to prior commitments. His induction has been anticipated for a later date, so this could potentially be the year for Bautista’s inclusion.
