Tommy Dreamer, a former WWE star, recently shared his insights on Braun Strowman’s career path, commending the transformation of the “WWE Raw” superstar. In a recent episode of “Busted Open After Dark,” Dreamer reminisced about his early matches with Strowman, noting his admiration for the giant’s development as a performer.
“I had one of the earliest matches with Braun Strowman. We joke about it whenever I talk about him, but I think he mentioned I was like his third or fifth match ever. I didn’t work in WWE, yet I faced him on television while I was involved in a feud with the Dudleys and Rhino. You could already see the potential greatness in this guy.
Of course, he has experienced some highs and lows in his career, even to the extent that WWE released him,” Dreamer explained. Dreamer expressed enthusiasm for Strowman’s current run, especially regarding his physical transformation since returning to WWE in 2022.
“But I think he’s been firing on all cylinders. I really enjoy his work and always have. He’s now on a next-level path,” Dreamer remarked. “For a while, he was more lean, but now he’s added some muscle while maintaining his leanness. For him, that’s impressive because he’s quick and explosive. People often underestimate how massive he really is.”
He also pointed out the shift in WWE’s roster over the years, noting that there are more smaller wrestlers now compared to when he first debuted, a time filled with towering figures.
Dreamer believes this contrast makes giants like Strowman stand out even more. Strowman appears to be relishing his current tenure with WWE, recently sharing what makes his second stint with the promotion special.
