WWE Icon The Undertaker Shares What Would Convince Him to Come Out of Retirement

In 2018, during Crown Jewel, The Undertaker and Kane joined forces as The Brothers Of Destruction to confront Triple H and Shawn Michaels, who were representing Degeneration-X in the main event. Unfortunately, the match did not meet expectations, marred by several missteps, including Triple H suffering a torn pec, resulting in an overall lackluster display from all four participants.

This unsatisfactory performance left a sour impression on many WWE fans, especially since Michaels had made a highly celebrated return from retirement following his emotional exit at WrestleMania 26.

Recently, during an appearance on “Six Feet Under,” both Kane and The Undertaker reflected on their experience at Crown Jewel, with Undertaker indicating that only a rematch against DX would draw him back into the ring.

Undertaker joked that a rematch against DX might tempt him to come out of retirement after their lackluster performance (WWE)

In his reflections, Undertaker stated, “You’d think that with our combined experience, executing that match would have been effortless. If given the chance to do it again, I might consider coming out of retirement just to see if we could surpass how poorly it went the first time.” He added, lightheartedly, “One man lost his pec, another lost his pride, and yet another lost his mask.”

Kane supported Undertaker’s views, revealing that a showdown with DX had always been his dream match. However, following their disappointing performance, he believed it should never be revisited.

It’s worth noting that the main event from Crown Jewel carries a dismal 0.69 rating on Cagematch.com, marking it as one of the lowest scores ever recorded for all four competitors throughout their wrestling careers.
