Justin Baldoni’s ongoing legal dispute with Blake Lively has had a significant impact on several of his upcoming projects, including the planned movie adaptation of the classic video game Pac-Man.
It is confirmed that the Pac-Man film is one of “three jobs” that Baldoni, 41, and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, may no longer be involved with due to his ongoing legal battle with Lively, 37.
Baldoni and his studio have already suffered financial losses amounting to “hundreds of millions of dollars” as a result of Lively’s sexual harassment lawsuits against him.
Baldoni’s live-action Pac-Man project has been in development since 2022. He was set to direct the film and produce it alongside Wayfarer’s Chuck Williams and Andrew Lazar, with Christopher Yost attached as the screenwriter, according to the production company’s website.
While it remains unclear which of Baldoni’s other upcoming projects have been affected, it is possible that the Pac-Man movie may only be delayed until the legal situation is resolved.
However, several of Wayfarer’s business partners have reportedly been in discussions with the studio regarding the status of future projects.
Baldoni co-founded Wayfarer Studios with Steve Sarowitz in 2019. In addition to It Ends With Us, the studio has produced several notable films, including Five Feet Apart, Clouds, The Garfield Movie, Ezra, Code 3, and the upcoming A Nice Indian Boy.

Their latest release, The Senior, is set to hit theaters on March 7. Wayfarer also backed Eleanor the Great, Scarlett Johansson’s directorial debut starring June Squibb and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Shortly after Lively accused Baldoni of inappropriate workplace behavior during the production of It Ends With Us, as well as attempting to orchestrate a smear campaign against her in her initial December 2024 lawsuit, talent agency WME dropped both Baldoni and Wayfarer as clients.
WME later denied speculation that Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, pressured the agency into severing ties with Baldoni and Wayfarer.
In response to the allegations, Baldoni filed a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times, which was the first to report on Lively’s initial lawsuit. Additionally, he launched a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds, 48, and her publicist, Leslie Sloane, earlier this month.
Baldoni’s claims include allegations that Lively attempted to take over creative control of It Ends With Us, despite his role as the film’s director. Both Baldoni and Lively, along with their respective legal teams, have strongly denied each other’s accusations.

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York is set to review Lively’s request for a gag order against Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, in a pre-trial hearing scheduled for Monday, February 3. The official trial date for the case has been set for March 9, 2026.
Ahead of the pre-trial proceedings, Lively and Reynolds informed a federal judge on Thursday, January 30, that they plan to seek the dismissal of Baldoni’s lawsuit against them.
