Love Is Blind is gearing up to bring the pods back just in time for Valentine’s Day.
As anticipation builds for the latest installment of Netflix’s hit reality series, the streaming platform has unveiled the Minnesota-based singles set to participate in season 8.
“The possibilities are freaking me out—in a good way,” shared Monica, a 28-year-old digital marketer, in an official meet-the-cast video released on Monday, January 27. “But I’m still very nervous.”
As with previous seasons, contestants will engage in one-on-one conversations without seeing one another, forging connections based solely on personality and emotional compatibility.
Once relationships begin to take shape, participants must decide whether they want to move forward and get engaged. Those who take that next step will finally meet in person, move in together, and begin planning their weddings—ultimately determining if their bond is strong enough to last at the altar.
Hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey will once again guide the cast through this unique social experiment, supporting them as they search for their forever partner.
This season also marks the five-year anniversary of Love Is Blind’s debut. Over the years, the franchise has produced several lasting love stories, including season 1’s Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton, as well as season 4’s Bliss Poureetezadi and Zack Goytowski.
“Happy 6th Anniversary to the love of my life!!!” Cameron wrote on Instagram in November 2024. “It is a gift to journey through life with you and see you grow each day. … You inspire me to be a better man, and I’m so grateful for the life we’ve built together.”
