The AMAs ceremony, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, will air live on CBS and Paramount+ from Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025.

Janet Jackson’s AMA performance will coincide with the latest leg of her ongoing Vegas residency, Janet Jackson: Las Vegas, which started in December 2024. She will perform six shows from May 21 to 31 at the Resorts World Theatre. Previously, she received the Billboard Music Awards Icon Award in 2018, delivering a powerful performance and an inspiring speech supporting the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements.

Fan voting for the AMAs is open until May 22, except for collaboration of the year and social song of the year, which allow web voting during the first 30 minutes of the show. Kendrick Lamar leads the 2025 nominations with 10 nods. The American Music Awards are produced by Dick Clark Productions, a joint venture owned by Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge.
