Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are openly embracing their relationship and have been spotted enjoying affectionate moments together.
In photos published on Monday, January 13, the couple was seen in San Fernando, California, spending time together. Jackman, 56, and Foster, 49, were photographed in a car while waiting in the drive-thru line at an In-N-Out Burger.
During the wait, the pair couldn’t seem to keep their hands off each other, sharing multiple kisses as they sat in the car. Jackman was behind the wheel, while Foster occupied the passenger seat.
Their public displays of affection didn’t stop there. In a parking structure, Jackman and Foster were seen sharing more kisses.
Before Foster entered the vehicle, Jackman approached her, giving her a warm hug and a kiss on the lips. Foster reciprocated by caressing the Deadpool and Wolverine actor’s cheek during the tender moment.
Earlier Confirmations of Their Romance
Jackman and Foster’s recent outing occurred before the Los Angeles wildfires, according to the outlet. Their relationship was subtly confirmed earlier this month when Jackman was spotted attending Foster’s West Coast run of Once Upon a Mattress.
Shortly afterward, the two were seen holding hands during a Los Angeles date. The outlet also noted that they enjoyed a dinner date in Santa Monica.
Sources revealed their romance began while working together on Broadway’s revival of The Music Man the previous year.
Their Marriages Before the Romance
At the time of their collaboration on The Music Man, both Jackman and Foster were married to other people. Jackman had been married to Deborra-Lee Furness for 27 years before announcing their separation in September 2023.
“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” Jackman and Furness said in a joint statement at the time.
“Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth. Our family has been and always will be our highest priority.” The former couple shares two adult children.
Foster, meanwhile, filed for divorce from her husband, Tim Griffin, in October 2024. The former couple shares a daughter, Emily, who was adopted.

According to an insider, Jackman and Foster’s relationship played a role in Jackman’s split from Furness.
“A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people,” the source claimed in November 2024. “Everyone respected their privacy. But there was an affair and overlap.”
