Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is on the lookout for a new team. As reported by ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, Beckham will hold a workout for NFL teams this Friday in Arizona.

This session will provide an opportunity for teams to assess his physical condition after he missed the entire previous season due to a torn ACL. The Giants are anticipated to attend the workout.

Former Virginia Tech quarterback Ryan Willis is expected to throw passes to Beckham during the session. Beckham is still in the recovery phase from his ACL injury, sustained last year.

He recently shared a video of himself running on Instagram with the caption “progress is progress” and tweeted, “I swear I’m loadin…. No where near I wanna be but exactly where I need to be.”

Beckham, who earned three Pro Bowl selections with the New York Giants from 2014 to 2018, injured his left knee during Super Bowl LVI while playing for the Los Angeles Rams. Despite interest from several teams, including the Giants, Bills, and Cowboys, Beckham was ultimately passed over by these clubs.

Dallas remains a contender for Beckham’s services. Cowboys COO Stephen Jones mentioned that discussions with Beckham would resume as free agency approaches next month.

According to the Cowboys’ website, Jones affirmed, “We brought Odell Beckham Jr. in for a visit. Decided he wasn’t ready to play. (But) that’s the way we left it with him. Get ready to play, and then let’s revisit. We obviously had an interest for a reason.”
