The Philadelphia Eagles have epitomized consistency this season with a 16-3 record, a 7-1 mark against playoff teams, and a quarterback who went 16-1 in his starts, building a case for MVP consideration. Additionally, the team amassed nearly 70 sacks and secured two decisive postseason victories.
All this success earned them a berth in Super Bowl LVII against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, as they seek their second Vince Lombardi Trophy in five years.
It’s no surprise the Eagles are all smiles.
On Monday night, the Eagles faced the media for the first time this week — with three more interview sessions to follow — but first, they posed for their Super Bowl portraits.
And they’re stunning — check out the gallery above.
The Eagles dominated the San Francisco 49ers, 31-7, in the NFC Championship Game. They’ve appeared formidable in the playoffs, also routing the New York Giants, 38-7, in the divisional round. Now, they’re back in the Super Bowl, five years after defeating the New England Patriots, 41-33.
While the Chiefs will practice at Arizona State’s football facilities, the Eagles will prepare at the Arizona Cardinals’ practice facility.
The Chiefs secured their third Super Bowl appearance in four seasons when Harrison Butker kicked a 45-yard field goal with 3 seconds remaining to edge past the Cincinnati Bengals, 23-20, in the AFC Championship Game last weekend.
