The R34 Skyline is finally making its debut in the United States in 2024, allowing enthusiasts to experience this iconic two-door Japanese car legally and without restrictions.

This vehicle is far from obscure; the R34 is well-known, especially among fans of the “Fast & Furious” franchise, which has played a remarkable role in elevating its status. Both descriptors—’little-known’ and ‘odd’—are completely inaccurate when referring to this celebrated model that has captured the hearts of car enthusiasts around the world.

Crafted by the renowned Japanese restomod company ‘Built By Legends,’ this marks the second R34 they have meticulously customized specifically for the U.S. market, leveraging the recent expiration of the ‘Imported Vehicle Safety Compliance Act.’

The transformation process begins with a thorough 3D scan of the R34 base to gather comprehensive data before the car is completely disassembled. After being wet-blasted to remove any imperfections, the chassis is spot-welded, reinforced, and coated with five layers of high-quality paint, this time featuring the iconic ‘Bayside Blue’ hue.

Every component is either powder-coated and meticulously reassembled or entirely replaced, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of performance and aesthetic appeal, delivering a classic car experience reimagined for modern enthusiasts.
