Legal Representative Clarifies Reasons for Photos in Complaint Against Vince McMahon and WWE

Recently, five anonymous clients have initiated a new civil lawsuit against Vince and Linda McMahon, WWE, and their parent company TKO, relating to the “ring boy scandal” that emerged in the 1990s.

This scandal involves allegations of grooming and assault against underage members of the ring crew. Greg Gutzler, an attorney representing one of the anonymous plaintiffs, appeared on “Pollock and Thurston” to discuss the 82-page complaint, which included photographs of the victims.

According to Gutzler, many people prefer to overlook issues of sexual abuse because they are deeply distressing. He explained, “It’s painful to think that you could have a child, or a parent, or a sibling that may have been subjected to these types of things.”

Vince McMahon faces three court cases, including this new lawsuit and an ongoing DOJ investigation (WWE)

He emphasized the vulnerability of the children involved, noting that they viewed WWE as a dream come true, embodying classic storylines of good versus evil and the morality play that characterized wrestling during that era.

Addressing criticisms that the victims have ulterior motives for the lawsuit, Gutzler insisted that the primary goal is to reveal the truth and provide support for other victims.

He stated, “When you get to know these people you will say, ‘These are people whose lives were ruined; we need to take this seriously and we hope the WWE will also.'” This marks the third ongoing court case involving Vince McMahon, alongside matters with the U.S. Department of Justice and Janel Grant, with the former currently taking precedence.
