This year’s WrestleMania featured a memorable moment as Roman Reigns and The Rock joined forces to defeat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins during Night 1 of WrestleMania 40. However, following The Rock’s recent appearance at Bad Blood, fans are speculating about another potential showdown on a Premium Live Event, possibly with them on opposing sides.
Despite The Rock’s presence at Bad Blood, Bully Ray emphasized that he is not currently involved in the ongoing Bloodline storyline. On “Busted Open Radio,” he stated, “I think Rock and Roman — at some point, whether that’s main-eventing Night 2 of SummerSlam next year or WrestleMania, whatever it is, it’s going to be huge.”
He expressed confidence that a match between Rock and Roman would draw a massive crowd, potentially filling the Rose Bowl with 100,000 fans. Yet, Bully Ray admitted that he is more curious about the possible dynamics between The Rock and Rhodes.
There’s no doubt that fans would flock to see The Rock at the next Premium Live Event. However, according to a report from the “Wrestling Observer,” he is not slated to appear at next year’s WrestleMania.
The Rock later contested the accuracy of that report. His promo following Bad Blood was also noteworthy, as it appeared to have a babyface tone, suggesting that if he were to face either Reigns or Rhodes, one of them would likely take on the heel role.
