Scott Hall, a beloved WWE Hall of Famer, would have celebrated his 66th birthday on Sunday, and the wrestling community has been reflecting on his legacy. Among those paying tribute was his longtime friend Sean “X-Pac” Waltman, who shared a nostalgic photo of them from years ago.

Waltman posted the image on X (formerly Twitter) featuring himself, Hall, and WWE star Asuka, along with his late dog Lula, who passed away in 2023 due to kidney failure. “Scott & I are both big @WWEAsuka fans, so it was cool AF to get this pic of everyone together,” Waltman wrote. He ended the post with a heartfelt message: “I miss him every day. Happy Birthday in Heaven, Big Brother!”

In the tweet, Waltman used the present tense to describe Hall’s fandom. He later clarified this choice, explaining that he believes Hall’s admiration for Asuka continues even after his passing.

“I say Scott & I ‘are’ big Asuka fans, because I’m sure Scott’s an even bigger Asuka fan in the afterlife,” Waltman remarked. Asuka’s recent contract renewal with WWE, according to Waltman, is something he imagines Hall would still appreciate.

Hall passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 63 following complications from hip surgery that resulted in a blood clot and multiple heart attacks. Beyond their friendship in The Kliq, Hall and Waltman were both integral members of the NWO during their time in WCW.

Kevin Nash, another close friend, also reminisced about Hall on what would have been his birthday, sharing a story about nearly getting into a fight with a police officer during a trip to the UK.
