Former WWE Stars Predict Vince McMahon’s Permanent Exit from the Company

Due to a Netflix docuseries and multiple criminal allegations, Vince McMahon is often regarded as disgraced within the WWE community. In a recent segment of Piers Morgan Uncensored, several prominent figures associated with WWE debated whether McMahon remains relevant to the organization. While a majority concurred that McMahon has moved on from WWE, their justifications varied.

Phil Mushnick, for his tenure with the New York Post and his historic critiques of McMahon, left the possibility of a McMahon return open. Although Mushnick expressed skepticism about McMahon returning in an official role, he recognized that McMahon would “always be omnipresent.”

“People like that don’t just disappear,” Mushnick remarked. Chiming in, ex-WWE broadcaster Charly Arnolt, known as Charly Caruso during her time with the organization, raised questions about McMahon’s potential return, given WWE’s current success.

Mushnick suggested that wrestling is McMahon’s “lifeblood” and that his emotional connection to the industry would likely pull him back into the fold. Arnolt countered this viewpoint, pointing out that the change in WWE’s leadership is a serious obstacle to any prospect of McMahon’s comeback.

“They’re bringing in people who previously had little involvement in the wrestling industry,” Arnolt explained. “With [Nick] Khan at the helm on the WWE side and UFC acquiring WWE, with TKO Group overseeing both, they are clearly moving in a new direction focused more on entertainment. It’s a stark departure from the past.”
