Falcons Strengthen Defense with Key Player’s Return

Two straight victories have placed the Atlanta Falcons at the top of the NFC South standings. The roster is also becoming healthier, as linebacker Nate Landman seems ready to make his return against Carolina after sitting out four games due to injury. “Nate Landman will be activated off injured reserve before tomorrow’s game against the Panthers,” NFL Network’s Mike Garofolo announced on X, noting that this will be Landman’s first game back since Week 1.

Landman sustained a calf injury in the season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers but has now recovered just in time for this critical matchup. His return is especially meaningful since he was arguably the team’s best defender in that opening loss.
