The McLaren GTS Makes Its Middle East Debut, Showcasing Exceptional Speed and Style

For the first time in the Middle East, McLaren Automotive revealed the new McLaren GTS during an exclusive evening event held at the newly established McLaren Abu Dhabi Service Centre, located in the UAE’s capital.

The event offered a select group of VIPs, McLaren owners, and media representatives the opportunity to get an up-close look at the newest member of McLaren’s supercar lineup. Before its official launch, the McLaren GTS was featured in a breathtaking photoshoot at Atlantis the Royal, one of the globe’s most prestigious luxury hotels—an ideal backdrop for showcasing this exceptional vehicle.

Staying true to McLaren’s legacy of elegant yet functional design, the GTS offers an improved power-to-weight ratio, thanks to its lightweight carbon fibre construction based on a unique monocoque chassis. In addition, this model brings enhanced exterior and interior customization options compared to its predecessor.

The ultra-lightweight GTS is crafted for drivers seeking the thrill of McLaren’s renowned dynamic performance while also delivering comfort, refinement, and practicality for both daily drives and long journeys.

Inside, the cabin reflects the GTS’s balance of high-performance engineering and luxury, offering a comfortable environment for extended trips, while ensuring the driver can fully exploit the car’s outstanding handling and capabilities.

Weighing just 1,520kg (DIN), the GTS stands as the lightest vehicle in its segment, boasting a power-to-weight ratio of 418PS per tonne. The upgraded V8 M840TE 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged engine generates 635PS at 7,500rpm, with an added 15PS achieved through enhanced crankshaft torque and revised ignition timing.

Equipped with a launch-control feature, the GTS accelerates from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in a mere 3.2 seconds and from 0-200km/h (0-124mph) in just 8.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 326km/h (203mph).

The McLaren GTS comes standard with a three-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, a three-year paint warranty, and a ten-year anti-perforation warranty. The car is also eligible for the McLaren Extended Warranty, which can be extended in 12- or 24-month increments, up to a total of 12 years. Additionally, the McLaren Service Plan covers three years of vehicle servicing.
