The ICH-X K3 Off-Roader: What to Expect from This New Arrival

The newly established Italian brand ICH-X is introducing the ICH-X K3, an off-roader that will debut at the 2024 Turin Motor Show, alongside the well-known K2.

Positioned as the flagship model of the off-road brand, the K3 boasts spacious dimensions, a boxy design, seating for five, and a base price of €48,500 (approximately £41,000) powered by a 2.0 turbo petrol engine.

Impressive Size and Off-Road Capability

Derived from the Chinese Jetour Traveller under the Chery group, the ICH-X K3 measures 4.78 meters in length, 2.00 meters in width, and 1.80 meters in height, complemented by a substantial 2.80-meter wheelbase.

Its rugged design, showcased at the Turin Motor Show, features a body composed of 75% high-strength steel, employing automated laser welding and brazing techniques to enhance durability on rough terrains.

With a ground clearance of 22 cm and approach and departure angles of 20° and 30°, respectively, these specifications are set to provide the ICH-X with outstanding off-road capabilities, aided by BorgWarner’s intelligent XWD all-wheel drive system that seamlessly switches between 2WD and 4WD, along with a differential lock.

Advanced Driving Assistance Features

Inside the ICH-X K3, the cabin is finished with a luxurious touch and features a prominent 15.6-inch central display. The vehicle is equipped with a range of driving aids designed to enhance safety and convenience.

Among these features are forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, lane change assist, adaptive cruise control, side collision warnings, door open alerts, and automatic parking assistance.
