Nia Jax (WWE)
After securing a victory over Bayley at WWE SummerSlam, Nia Jax now holds the title of WWE Women’s Champion. During an interview on “Unlikely With Adrian Hernandez,” Jax discussed her thoughts on Becky Lynch, a former multi-time champion. Although Lynch has been away from the spotlight, Jax made it clear that she hasn’t forgotten about her.
“Becky Lynch is destined to be remembered as one of the greatest in our industry,” Jax remarked. “She’s worked hard and deserves her time off, but I do take some credit for giving her a solid punch to the face and crushing her. I hope that when she returns, we get another chance to face off because I believe there’s unfinished business between us.”
Lynch’s last appearance in the ring was on the May 27 episode of “WWE Raw,” where she competed against Liv Morgan. This match came shortly after Lynch lost her WWE Women’s World Championship to Morgan at WWE King and Queen of the Ring.
Following consecutive losses, Lynch’s WWE contract expired, and reports suggested that she received lucrative offers from WWE and other wrestling promotions. As of September 2024, Lynch remains a free agent, with plenty of opportunities still available.
Prior to leaving WWE, Lynch engaged in high-profile feuds with Nia Jax, Rhea Ripley, and Liv Morgan. Her rivalry with Jax included a Last Woman Standing match, where Lynch finally claimed the victory.
