Andrea Iervolino Launches Independent Outfit After Parting Ways with Business Partner Monika Bacardi

Andrea Iervolino, an Italian producer known for his work on films like Michael Mann’s “Ferrari,” Johnny Depp’s “Waiting for the Barbarians,” and “Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend,” has announced his departure from business partner Monika Bacardi to establish a new film and television company, The Andrea Iervolino Company.

For 13 years, Iervolino and Bacardi were partners at ILBE, the studio they co-founded and managed together. In a statement, Iervolino confirmed, “With the launch of TAIC, I have stepped down as president and CEO of ILBE to concentrate on my new venture. I will still be available to assist ILBE during the transition to a new CEO in a non-exclusive role.”

The statement did not clarify the reasons behind the split between Iervolino and Bacardi. During his tenure at ILBE, Iervolino produced famous films including “Modi – Three Days on the Wings of Madness,” directed by Depp and featuring Al Pacino, as well as Jean-Claude Van Damme’s sequel “Kill ‘Em All 2” and the thriller “Find Your Friends,” which starred Helena Howard, Bella Thorne, Zion Moreno, Chloe Cherry, and Sophia Ali.

Upcoming projects for TAIC include a biopic about the Maserati family, written and directed by Bobby Moresco, along with “Ferrari vs. Mercedes,” also directed by Moresco. Both films were developed during Iervolino’s time at ILBE.

Beyond film and television production, Iervolino has been active in various ventures. He recently acquired a stake in Miami FC, a professional soccer team in Florida, is developing Tuscany Film Studios, a state-of-the-art filming facility near Florence, Italy, and is managing Tatatu S.p.A., a publicly traded blockchain-based platform.

Iervolino, often regarded as an entrepreneurial prodigy, began his career by creating local websites in his hometown of Cassino, Italy, at the age of 13. By 17, he earned a co-executive producer credit on the 2005 film “The Merchant of Venice,” starring Pacino. ILBE was founded in Rome in 2011 by Iervolino and Bacardi.
