The Bad Blood Between WWE’s Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes: Insights from Bully Ray

Over the past couple of years, WrestleMania has showcased an intense rivalry between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, drawing the attention of wrestling fans everywhere.

However, recent developments following Reigns’ comeback at Summerslam have forced these two competitors into an unlikely partnership, paving the way for an intriguing storyline.

Wrestling veteran Bully Ray weighed in on this complex dynamic during his time on “Busted Open Radio,” emphasizing the challenges posed by their history.

Roman Reigns initially resisted Cody Rhodes’ help but eventually agreed to team up, adding tension to their upcoming match (WWE)

Bully pointed out how fascinating it is that these two are now aligned despite their past conflicts: “This storyline really asks whether they can work together.

Given what they’ve been through, it’s hard to picture them cooperating. Roman initially refused Cody’s assistance but finally allowed him to be part of the contract signing.

Interestingly, it was Cody who wanted to keep his distance, despite having taken the title from Roman.” This surprising collaboration leads into their upcoming tag team match against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at the Bad Blood PLE, prompting Bully to consider how this match might play out.

“I’d love to see them approach this match differently,” Bully suggested. “What if Roman starts off and never lets Cody tag in because this is about family? Roman has made it clear that this is Bloodline business.

Picture him only tagging out when it’s absolutely necessary, or Cody forcing himself into the match.” As they gear up to face Sikoa and Fatu on Saturday, October 5, the anticipation for their clash continues to build.
