This year, Jordynne Grace followed Mickie James’ example by competing in the women’s Royal Rumble as the reigning TNA Knockouts Champion. However, Grace believes an even more crossover event is on the horizon for the 2025 Royal Rumble.
Taking to social media, Grace made a bold claim, predicting that fans will witness Joe Hendry make an appearance. “When ‘say his name and he appears’ hits next year, it’ll be one of the top 5 Rumble reactions in history. Bookmark this tweet,” she declared.
Hendry’s last WWE match occurred when he faced off against Ethan Page for the NXT Championship at No Mercy. Despite Trick Williams stepping in as the Special Guest Referee, Hendry couldn’t overcome “All Ego” to claim victory.
Fans were hopeful that Hendry might make history as the first TNA star to win the NXT Championship, but WWE’s plans went in a different direction. Since then, Hendry has returned to his TNA duties, recently defeating Josh Alexander at Victory Road after stepping away from “NXT” television.
Recently, Hendry took steps to trademark both his ring name and his well-known phrases, “I Believe In Joe Hendry” and “Say his name, and he appears.”
While these actions may indicate that he’s taking his character more seriously following his success in “NXT,” they could also hint at a future move to another promotion, possibly WWE. This has fueled speculation that Hendry may make a surprise appearance as an entrant in next year’s Royal Rumble.
