A rematch between Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed on “WWE Raw” never officially started, as the chaos erupted before the bell could ring following their previous No-Contest on August 26. As soon as Strowman entered the ring, he immediately drove Reed into the turnbuckle, causing the top rope to snap.
After delivering a choke slam and sending Reed out of the ring, Strowman attempted his signature freight train move, but was interrupted when Reed hurled a planted “fan” from the crowd at him. Despite the unusual attack, Strowman quickly recovered and retaliated by sending Reed crashing through the barricade near the timekeeper’s area.
As Reed attempted to escape through the backstage area, he taunted Strowman, who chased after him, leading to a wild brawl behind the scenes. Strowman gained the upper hand initially, flipping a golf cart and disrupting the broadcast feed.
Reed fought back with a Tsunami through tables, but Strowman once again rose to his feet, sending both himself and Reed crashing through drywall, bringing down debris all around them. The segment concluded with both competitors still down, while officials and emergency personnel rushed in to provide assistance.
