Chelsea Green, known as the “Princess of Pain,” is gearing up for an unusual challenge in the form of a Dumpster Match. During last week’s episode of “WWE SmackDown,” Green executed an Unprettier on fellow star Michin, sending her crashing into a trash can.
She took delight in her actions during a post-show interview on “WWE SmackDown LowDown,” but her celebration was abruptly interrupted by the appearance of former “SmackDown” General Manager Vickie Guerrero. Guerrero made a special appearance during the season premiere of “SmackDown” on the USA Network, alongside other legends.
In their exchange, Guerrero expressed her approval of Green’s trash can maneuver and proposed a Dumpster Match between Green and Michin. To Green’s dismay, current “SmackDown” General Manager Nick Aldis supported Guerrero’s suggestion, labeling it as “fantastic.”
No date has been announced yet for the showdown between Green and Michin. Despite this, Green declared that she wouldn’t be available, while Michin seems eager for the stipulation, expressing her excitement on X (formerly Twitter) with a message saying, “Bet. Thank you Vicky [folded hands emoji].”
Although rare, WWE has seen a few Dumpster Matches throughout its history. The most recent took place in April 2017 on “WWE Raw,” where Braun Strowman defeated Kalisto.
Nearly twenty years prior, WWE held its first-ever Dumpster Match at WrestleMania 14, where Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie triumphed over The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn) to win the WWE Tag Team Championships. To win a Dumpster Match, competitors must place their opponent inside a dumpster and close the lid.
