Tessa Blanchard is often regarded as one of the most polarizing figures in modern professional wrestling, and her reputation has led to numerous strained relationships within the industry. Nonetheless, her father, WWE Hall of Famer Tully Blanchard, recently shared that his daughter has embarked on a new journey.
He praised her as “extremely talented” and mentioned that she is now a full-time student at the University of Texas San Antonio. “Every semester, she has made the Dean’s List. My son also achieved the same when he attended UTSA in the ROTC program,” Tully explained during a segment of “TullyVision.”
Despite her academic commitments, Tessa continues to wrestle full-time with CMLL. “She is managing both her studies and wrestling, and I advised her, ‘The most important thing is to aim to steal the show every night, or at least give it your best shot,'” he stated.
Tully emphasized that excelling in her performances would not only enhance her own career but also uplift those around her. “I take pride in what she’s accomplishing, just as I do with all my children, and I’m proud that my son is on the path to becoming a captain in the army,” he remarked. While Tessa is currently active in CMLL, earlier reports indicated that she had discussions regarding a potential return to TNA.
