A major transformation is underway for WWE’s television lineup. On September 13, “WWE SmackDown” will return to USA Network after spending five years with FOX. Meanwhile, “WWE Raw” will continue on USA Network until the end of the year, with plans to move to Netflix in January 2025. Additionally, USA Network will part ways with “WWE NXT,” which is set to debut on The CW on October 1.
In addition to these network changes, WWE’s arrangement with Hulu, which currently includes streaming “Raw,” “SmackDown,” and “WWE Main Event,” is nearing its end. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Hulu’s contract for “SmackDown” has expired, and future episodes will shift to Peacock. Hulu will continue to stream “Raw” until the end of the year, after which Netflix will secure exclusive rights beginning in 2025.
As of now, it’s uncertain if “WWE Main Event” will remain a regular feature on Hulu. With Netflix poised to hold exclusive streaming rights for “Raw” globally and WWE’s ongoing partnership with Peacock in the U.S., there is a possibility that Hulu may still feature some WWE content in the near future.
