Great Wall Motor has begun accepting orders for the Haval H6 Hybrid in Malaysia, with an estimated price tag of under RM145,000. Initially, the vehicle will be imported fully (CBU) with an initial batch of 100 units before transitioning to local assembly at the EPMB facility in Melaka. The locally assembled (CKD) units will maintain the same specifications as the initial imported models. The Haval H6 Hybrid will be offered exclusively in a high-spec Ultra trim.
The H6 Hybrid features a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine generating 150 PS and 230 Nm of torque, paired with an electric motor producing 177 PS and 300 Nm. This powertrain is coupled with a two-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT).
Together, the hybrid system delivers a combined output of 243 PS and 530 Nm of torque. The electric motor is the primary source of propulsion, while the petrol engine assists at higher speeds, with the system intelligently switching between the two as needed.
On the exterior, the Haval H6 Hybrid sports matrix LED headlights, 19-inch gloss black alloy wheels, and a distinctive ‘Star Matrix’ grille. Inside, the SUV is equipped with dual-zone climate control, rear air vents, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a powered tailgate, Qi wireless charging, an eight-speaker audio system, a panoramic glass sunroof, a head-up display, and a ‘boss seat’ switch for the front passenger seat.
Safety features include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, parking assist, and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) comprising AEB, full-speed adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane change assist.
Early bookings come with a RM3,000 value offer for a RM1,000 booking fee. Additionally, the Haval H6 Hybrid includes a 10-year or 1,000,000 km vehicle warranty and an eight-year or 1,000,000 km powertrain warranty covering the HEV system, DHT, high voltage battery, cables, and transmission control unit.
